I am happy to announce that Satchmo 0.8 is now released, This release comes almost exactly 6 months after the previous release and is full of many new capabilities, enhancements and bug fixes.

The biggest update is that this release is fully compatible with Django 1.0. The biggest improvement in this area is that Satchmo now has access to the full power of new forms admin.

There are many new features besides the Django 1.0 changes:

• Support for multiple store sites with one Satchmo instance
• Multiple pricing tiers for products allowing you to offer prices based on different user traits
• USPS and Fedex shipping modules
• New Protx and Purchase Order payment modules
• Improved email notification capabilities
• New views for most popular, best sellers and recently added products
